Well.....

So I have had another epiphany. My students are not learning science. They are not learning what the district mandates I teach them. Despite my best efforts to be a good teacher, they are not learning the material I am teaching. So, I have decided to try a different approach.

Technology. I can teach them to use technology to prepare them for the working world using science.

I had my BIO kids use laptops today. I am going to have them create a prezi presentation on the chapter we are starting over the cell. I have broken down the chapter and assigned each lab group a section to create a prezi on and present to the class. They are going to teach each other. They are going to teach each other using technology and prezi's.
